The SWE-DISH IPT Suitcase® was the first fully integrated IP satellite terminal and is one of the most compact, quickest-to-air systems. It combines one-person operation with exceptional performance to allow live 4 Mbps IP and 10 Mbps L-band broadband transmissions from virtually anywhere in the world.

The system allows IP broadband with built-in IP transmission and receives functionality for data, voice and video. Using MPEG2 video encoding the IPT Suitcase provides broadcast picture quality. With its 10/100 base-T port, the system works as an ordinary LAN. Alternatively, its L-band input can be used together with traditional DVB equipment. Turbo Product Coding comes standard.

The IPT Suitcase has a built-in GPS receiver, electronic compass and a fully motorized antenna to assure trouble-free antenna pointing. The terminal has a short feed-arm and the Gregorian offset antenna increases the efficiency gain to >80%.
